To enhance the digital intelligence skills of faculty members, the Teacher Development Sub-centre of the International Institute of Creative Design (IICD) held a training session themed Application of Artificial Intelligence in Teaching on 2 January at Room 813, Industry-Education Integration Building, Changning campus. Associate Professor Wang Zhi from IICD led the session, engaging with young faculty members on the impact of AI on disciplinary development.

Associate Professor Wang Zhi focused mainly on the application of AI in concept art design and how to utilise AI tools for instructional design. He also discussed methods for training AI models. This training session provided teachers with valuable tools and skills, deepening their understanding of AI-generated content (AICG) applications and broadening their teaching methodologies.

In the future, the institute will continue to explore more possibilities in digital-intelligent teaching, encouraging faculty members to integrate newly acquired skills into daily teaching practice. These efforts aim to collaboratively enhance educational quality, drive disciplinary innovation, and nurture more outstanding talents equipped with cutting-edge skills and creative thinking.
