Zeffy is relentlessly ‘surfing’ the internets for information because every proper article has at least 1 link. He’s got a better way to say that… I like writing and sharing my thoughts, but sometimes there’s too much life to take the time required to collect links. Sometimes a body needs to cry or scream because I’ve been watching C-Span and do politicians really say stuff like that? Yes, yes they do because that’s the world we live in somehow. Cynics and conspiracy theorists have been grinding their teeth for generations, so ‘somehow’ is less of a mystery and more of a trainwreck no one could prevent. So it seems to me.

We talked about the category name for this because we wanted it to reflect our intent and phrases like ‘off the rails’ were catchy but had too many words. Gathering information, learning and hunting for clickable links is a source of pride for us… but during a time when spelling errors show up in headlines and so many writers have ceased to be objective observers… we need a place to put our random venting nonsense.

We don’t currently have any subcategatories, but that will change over the next several weeks or whatnot. To be weirdly honest {which is to say that honesty isn’t unusual, but the insight is on the wierd side} Zeffy and I had an extended conversation about the content of this category because we had different perspectives.

Unhinged is sometimes about ranting, though we aspire to focus on the positive side of whatever topic we explore partly because when I thought about this category, I imagined all the ways in which we might often make proper episodes–complete with titles, edits and fancy transitions–and therefore we’d periodically make ‘off the cuff’ unedited video snippets, which we’d share here.
